Plot

Sector 36 is a gritty crime thriller set against the backdrop of a horrifying series of murders. The story is loosely inspired by the real-life 2006 Noida serial murders, also known as the Nithari Killings, where numerous children and women went missing under mysterious circumstances. In the film, Vikrant Massey plays a driven and relentless police officer assigned to investigate a string of brutal killings in Sector 36, a densely populated area on the outskirts of a bustling city. The case appears to be more complex than initially suspected, as the investigation uncovers chilling details of a serial killer preying on vulnerable individuals. Deepak Dobriyal plays a mysterious and sinister figure whose actions trigger a series of shocking revelations, drawing the audience deeper into a web of deception, corruption, and unimaginable horror. As the investigation intensifies, the lead detective must navigate a treacherous world filled with political pressure, societal neglect, and the desperation of the victims’ families.
