Plot

Operation Romeo centers on Aditya (Sidhant Gupta) and Neha (Vedika Pinto), a young couple out on a late-night drive, celebrating their relationship in a quiet moment away from societal scrutiny. However, their evening takes a dark turn when they encounter Mangesh (Sharad Kelkar), a seemingly authoritative figure, and his associate. Under the guise of moral policing, Mangesh intimidates and humiliates the couple, exploiting the situation to toy with their fears and push them into increasingly uncomfortable situations. The incident shakes Aditya and leaves him feeling vulnerable and resentful. As he wrestles with feelings of anger and helplessness, he becomes consumed by thoughts of revenge. His pursuit to regain a sense of control over his life leads him down a dangerous path, where he faces his inner demons and the complexities of love, pride, and masculinity. Operation Romeo explores the psychological trauma inflicted by moral policing and the toxic masculinity that often surrounds it. Through the lens of Aditya’s quest for redemption, the film raises questions about personal boundaries, the abuse of authority, and the effects of vigilantism on young couples in conservative societies, ultimately posing a deeper look at the repercussions of a single night on a young couple's lives.
