Plot

Looop Lapeta follows Savi (Taapsee Pannu), a resourceful young woman who is thrown into a high-stakes race against time to save her boyfriend Satya (Tahir Raj Bhasin) from a dangerous predicament. Satya, a small-time gambler, finds himself in trouble when he loses a hefty sum of money belonging to a powerful mobster. With limited time to recover the cash, he turns to Savi, who quickly realizes the dire consequences they face if she can’t secure the money in time. In a twist of fate, Savi finds herself reliving the same day over and over again, giving her multiple chances to try and save Satya. As she navigates through the chaotic and increasingly surreal events of the day, Savi learns from each “loop” and begins to make better choices. With every loop, she pieces together clues, maneuvers through eccentric characters, and attempts different strategies to keep Satya alive and get them both out of trouble. Looop Lapeta blends action, suspense, and dark comedy, exploring the dynamics of love, chance, and fate. The film keeps audiences on edge with its fast-paced plot and inventive storytelling, offering a fresh take on the classic “time loop” narrative as Savi fights to break free from the cycle and save the day.
