Plot

Gumraah follows a gripping murder investigation that takes an unexpected twist when the police discover two lookalike suspects. The film begins with the brutal killing of a man, sparking an intense investigation led by Inspector Shivani Mathur (Mrunal Thakur) and her superior ACP Yadav (Ronit Roy). Their prime suspect is Arjun (Aditya Roy Kapur), a civil engineer with a seemingly normal life. However, during the course of the investigation, another man, Ronnie (also played by Aditya Roy Kapur), is found who bears an uncanny resemblance to Arjun. As the police dig deeper, they realize that the two lookalikes have no apparent connection, creating confusion and doubt. Arjun is portrayed as a well-mannered and educated man, while Ronnie has a criminal background, adding to the complexity of the case. With no solid evidence to distinguish who the real culprit is, the police are caught in a web of deception, secrets, and lies.
