Plot

Goldfish is a poignant drama that explores the complex relationship between a mother and daughter, delving into themes of memory, identity, and reconciliation. The film follows Anamika (Kalki Koechlin), a young woman of Indian-British heritage, who returns to her childhood home in London after learning that her mother, Sadhana (Deepti Naval), is suffering from dementia. Anamika, who had distanced herself from her mother and her past, is forced to confront old wounds and unresolved emotions upon her return. Sadhana, a once-strong and independent woman, now struggles with the gradual loss of her memories, including the ones that define her relationship with her daughter.
