Plot

Coat is an emotional drama that centers on the life of Madho (Vivaan Shah), a young man from a marginalized community in rural India, who dreams of gaining respect and recognition in society. Madho and his father (Sanjay Mishra) make a humble living by rearing pigs, a job that subjects them to discrimination and social exclusion. Despite the harsh treatment they receive, Madho aspires for a better life and longs to be accepted by society on equal terms. One day, while attending a local event, Madho is captivated by the sight of a wealthy man wearing a luxurious coat. This coat becomes a symbol of status and success for Madho, sparking his desire to own one and change his life. He believes that owning such a coat will transform how people perceive him and give him the respect he has always craved. With determination, Madho sets out on a journey to acquire the coat, encountering various obstacles along the way. His quest becomes a metaphor for the struggles of the underprivileged, highlighting issues of class disparity and social mobility.
