Plot

Bachchhan Paandey follows aspiring filmmaker Myra (Kriti Sanon), who sets out to make a gritty biopic on a notorious gangster to kickstart her career. She chooses Bachchhan Paandey (Akshay Kumar), a ruthless and feared mob boss, as the subject of her film, hoping his story will be her breakthrough. To gather material, Myra travels to Paandey’s small town in Uttar Pradesh, accompanied by her friend and fellow filmmaker, Vishu (Arshad Warsi). Upon arriving, Myra and Vishu try to get close to Paandey and his gang, but their plan backfires when Paandey discovers their real intentions. Known for his violent outbursts, Paandey initially threatens to kill them. However, intrigued by the idea of a film about his life, he eventually agrees to cooperate, but on his own terms. As Myra delves deeper into his world, she discovers Paandey’s unpredictable nature, catching glimpses of both his violent side and his vulnerabilities. The film combines action and comedy as Myra and Vishu navigate the absurdities of Paandey's life and encounter quirky characters in his gang. Bachchhan Paandey highlights the journey of a filmmaker in dangerous territory, blending humor and thrills as Myra learns that not everything—or everyone—is as it seems.
