Adipurush

Plot

Adipurush is a mythological action film inspired by the ancient Hindu epic Ramayana. The story revolves around Raghava (Prabhas), the prince of Ayodhya, who is banished to the forest for 14 years along with his wife Janaki (Kriti Sanon) and loyal brother Lakshmana (Sunny Singh). During their exile, the demon king Lankesh (Saif Ali Khan), also known as Ravana, abducts Janaki and takes her to his kingdom in Lanka, driven by his desire and ego. Raghava, determined to rescue Janaki, embarks on an epic journey filled with trials and challenges. He forms alliances with various beings, including the mighty Hanuman (Devdutta Nage) and the army of vanaras (monkey warriors). Together, they prepare for a colossal battle against Lankesh and his forces in Lanka. The film captures the grandeur of the final battle between good and evil, where Raghava leads his forces to victory, confronting Lankesh in a dramatic showdown. The themes of honor, devotion, and righteousness are central to the narrative, as Raghava symbolizes the virtues of dharma (righteousness) and devotion to family.
