In A Thursday, Naina Jaiswal (Yami Gautam), a kindergarten teacher, shocks the nation by taking 16 young children hostage at a preschool in Mumbai. Driven by a hidden agenda, Naina contacts the police and demands a series of actions, including the involvement of high-ranking officials and the Prime Minister herself, Maya Rajguru (Dimple Kapadia). As her demands escalate, so does the tension, with Inspector Javed Khan (Atul Kulkarni) and ACP Catherine Alvarez (Neha Dhupia) leading the police response under mounting public pressure.
