Salim Diwan was born on September 12, 1986, in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, India. He is currently married to Balkesh Chopdar, and they have two children together.

His passion for acting was reignited after winning a reality talent show, Jet Set Go, and subsequently receiving an IIFA award in Dubai. This led him to pursue a career in acting, debuting in the film "Bollywood Diaries" as a call-center executive obsessed with Bollywood. Salim has since appeared in various projects, including the short films "The Perfect Scream" and "Quran," and is set to star in the upcoming thriller "Aliya Basu Gayab Hai." He is also involved in charitable activities, particularly those supporting children and the elderly, reflecting his commitment to giving back to society.
