He has been married twice; his first wife is Prakash Kaur, with whom he has four children: Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta Deol, and Ajita Deol. His second marriage is to actress Hema Malini, with whom he has two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
