Plot

Baby John is an upcoming Hindi-language action thriller and a remake of the Tamil film Theri (2016), centered on the life of a former police officer, Baby John (played by Varun Dhawan), who is living a quiet, undercover life with his young daughter. After a traumatic past in which his wife (played by Keerthy Suresh) was brutally murdered by a powerful antagonist (Jackie Shroff), Baby John retreats from his dangerous profession to protect his daughter and give her a peaceful life. However, trouble soon finds him when a group of criminals, linked to his past, crosses his path, threatening the safety of his daughter. Forced to come out of hiding, Baby John’s fatherly instincts and cop skills take over as he begins a relentless quest for justice. Wamiqa Gabbi plays an important role as a supportive figure in Baby John's life, helping him navigate his emotional turmoil and physical battles. The film is packed with intense action sequences, emotional moments, and themes of revenge and redemption. As Baby John confronts his demons and fights to protect his daughter, the narrative underscores the lengths a father will go to keep his child safe from harm.
